Reform Treaty Conference11.59.00am GMT Sun 9th Dec 2007 The Federal Trust conference: "The Reform Treaty: Small Step or Giant Leap?" is on Monday 10th December 2007 4.30 - 7.30 pm at London Metropolitan University (nearest tube stations: Aldgate or Tower Hill) Keynote speaker: Lord Kerr of Kinlochard, Secretary-General of the Convention on the Future of Europe. Two panels will discuss the implications of the Treaty for the policies and institutions of the Union and the ratification debate in Britain and throughout the EU respectively. Chairs and panellists will include Professor Jo Shaw, University of Edinburgh; Professor Stephen Haseler, London Metropolitan University; Dr Karen Smith, LSE; John Palmer, Federal Trust; and Mary Dejevsky, The Independent (tbc).
