The President of Europe3.14.00pm GMT Mon 18th Feb 2008 Although the Lisbon Treaty has not yet been ratified there is speculation that Tony Blair could be interested in the new position of President of the European Council. However, it is reported that he is waiting for the full job description before applying. An anti-Blair petition (in the European Tribune) has so far collected over a million signatures.
