11.13.00am GMT Sat 15th Nov 2008

The European Movement of Armenia invited other members of the EM to attend its congress in Yerevan on the 8th November. The UK was represented by LDEG's Carol Weaver who was asked to give a talk on the history of the European Movement and its role in Western Europe. The event was held at the Congress Hotel and limited to 200-300 participants. After a lively debate and a vote on the issue, a large majority were in favour of greater European integration. Carol's speech can be found on our briefings page - http://www.ldeg.org/pages/briefingsandreports.html
